City Hall Low Block

Central, Hong Kong

The refurbishment of the exhibition hall with an open-ceiling design was to increase its flexibility to accommodate a wide range of functions – including seminars, art exhibitions, receptions etc., according to the user – putting special consideration on maximising exhibit space.

The concept for the renovation of the exterior glass façade arose from the continuation of the existing style of the glass façades of Low and High Blocks. In view of the style involved modulated pattern echoing that of the existing, the renovation ensured coherence for the overall image of the facility.
