L&O Principal Director Kelvin Li speaks at Design for Education Conference in Guangzhou

L&O Principal Director Kelvin Li was honoured to be invited as one of the speakers at the Design for Education Conference to share insights on design concepts of educational facilities, practical design solutions, and upcoming design trends tailored to the evolving needs of society and students of varying ages.

The swift development of the Greater Bay Area and Nansha region underscores the importance of cultivating talent for sustainable growth. The main objective of the conference was to deepen Hong Kong architects’ understanding of the development of the Greater Bay Area, with a focus on the Nansha region, and to facilitate dialogue among education professionals, designers, and stakeholders from Hong Kong and Mainland China regarding the vision and trends in educational architecture.

The Conference took place on 22 June 2024, at the Guangzhou Nansha Campus of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. It was organised by the Board of Mainland Affairs of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in collaboration with the Guangzhou Exploration & Design Association and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).
