Designed by Leigh & Orange, InnoCell is a smart living space and co-creation community designed for I&T talents in Hong Kong Science Park. The mission was to create an accommodation with one-stop 24/7 facilities and residents’ networks to build a harmonious neighbourhood. As an outstanding exemplar for nurturing the I&T community and the first high-rise steel Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) building in Hong Kong, MiC is not limited to architecture and construction but a Smart, Sustainable and Superior approach to a humanised neighbourhood.
The “One Team, One Goal Partnering Approach” was the key working philosophy behind the InnoCell Project Team. Receiving these prestigious awards is a recognition of InnoCell’s outstanding achievements in demonstrating smart innovation, sustainability, and design excellence.
“I believe quality buildings reflect the quality of people, and I am very fortunate to work with very good and amazing people. I am truly grateful! We have the quality of people, as you can see both inside and outside this ballroom, so I hope we can have more faith in ourselves, in our partners, in our industry, in our society. And together, I truly believe we can make Hong Kong architectural quality rise and rise again. Thank you very much!” Leigh & Orange Managing Director Ivy Lee said at the award presentation ceremony.
