The K11 Shanghai Huaihai Middle Road project, now officially named K11 ELYSEA, has been honoured with the Gold Award at the Better Future Hong Kong Design Awards 2025, recognising its visionary design and cultural ambition.

Leigh & Orange serves as the Project Architect, leading both the masterplanning and architectural design of the office tower and retail podium. The design draws from the site’s rich cultural heritage while embracing K11’s unique cultural-retail philosophy.

Situated in one of Shanghai’s most prestigious districts, the project spans a site area of 17,170 sqm, with 68,683 sqm above ground for retail, office, and cultural use, and 58,810 sqm below ground for retail and parking.

The development comprises a 120-metre-high super Grade A office tower and five individual “maisons” forming a commercial complex. These are complemented by landscaped courtyards, terraces, and a garden piazza that connects to Huaihai Park, creating an urban oasis.

With a vision to become the future heart of Shanghai’s cultural district, the project blends modernity and artistry with a touch of modern Art Deco, reflecting K11’s core philosophy: Art – People – Nature.
