Step Inside Kai Tak Sports Park: A New Chapter for Sports in Hong Kong

Share

The L&O team had the privilege of visiting the Kai Tak Sports Park site recently, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of this transformative project. As the Technical Services Consultant for the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, we are working closely with the government, designer, construction and operation teams to ensure the successful delivery of this landmark project.

This world-class destination will feature a 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium with retractable roof and spectator spot cooling, a 10,000-seat Kai Tak Arena, a 5,000-seat Youth Sports Ground, and a variety of outdoor facilities. Planned for the community, the project promotes sports industry development in Hong Kong, echoing the government’s implementation of relevant sports policies. The facilities at KTSP also provide more options for hosting different types of large-scale sports, cultural, and entertainment events, solidifying Hong Kong as Asia’s events capital.

As a visionary public destination that seamlessly blends state-of-the-art technology into a sports complex with accessible public open spaces, it is a celebration of innovation, community, and the future of sports and performance in Hong Kong – a truly iconic project for sports enthusiasts and citizens alike.
