Boulevard Plaza

Putrajaya, Malaysia

Along with the nearby Boulevard Square, this is one of the first speculative office blocks erected in Putrajaya – the administrative capital of Malaysia. The 50,000sqm of lettable space is contained in two adjoining blocks that define a green court that fronts Persiaran Perdana – the main boulevard bisecting Putrajaya. The masses of the building reduce in height from the junction with Jalan Pembangunan towards the adjacent Ministry of Justice, whilst the apparent bulk of the building is further reduced by the use of a variety of treatments to the curtain wall.

A colonnade gratefully shades pedestrians walking along Persiaran Perdana whilst also defining the edge of the green court which is accessible for tenants and also gives access to a supermarket. The graceful double height lobby can be entered from both the green court and the motor court to the rear which also gives access to the basement car park.
