KingMed Diagnostics Yangtze River Delta Headquarter

The project site is located within the southern industrial cluster of Huangdai Town, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, adjacent to Taiyang Road and Changtai Road. The site is strategically positioned at the westernmost edge of an international R&D park which focuses on biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. To the north, it borders the Xinkai River, while the west is framed by agricultural and forestry land interwoven with water features of important ecological value. This exceptional location, combined with prominent landscape resources, makes it an ideal setting for a medical research and production campus.

The architectural planning centres on the principles of ecology and nature, emphasizing a cohesive landscape axis. The design concept employs a series of progressively layered plaza spaces to create a harmonious yet distinct relationship between functional clusters. Inspired by Suzhou’s renowned gardens and courtyard traditions, the layout seeks to embody local cultural elements while integrating seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The design outcome is a contextually inspired R&D park that offers a vibrant environment for work and living.

With a total planned GFA of 164,000 square meters, the project includes a diverse array of facilities such as research laboratories, offices, exhibition spaces, cold-chain logistics and amenities. Designed to reflect Suzhou’s local identity while meeting global standards, the park serves as the Yangtze River Delta headquarters for the KingMed Group.
