L’ Avenue

Shanghai, China

Located in the Changning district of Shanghai, this mixed-use building comprises a 24-storey office tower on top of a 4-storey retail podium and a 4-storey basement.

The unique elevation design carries the fluidity from the tower to the transition skylight and finishes at the free-form podium structure. The integration of the building envelope has successfully transformed the concept of a “waterfall” into architectural design.

BIM software was used in this project to document the organic form of the building’s façade and the project is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
