L’Avenue (Interiors)

Located in the Changning district of Shanghai, this mixed-use building comprises a 24-storey office tower on top of a 4-storey retail podium and a 4-storey basement. Design philosophy of creating unique free-form building structure and fluidity concept were carried through from the exteriors to the interiors.

The “Ribbon” concept was adopted to create the free-flow and dynamic effect within the retail interiors. The interplay effect of the “Ribbon” weaving through the atrium voids to entrance lobbies, luminous feature walls, recessed bubble ceiling lighting feature, and the creative use of natural materials and custom designed finishes, has created an amiable and unique spatial experience for the retail customers.
