Redevelopment of Yuen Long Stadium

The redevelopment of Yuen Long Stadium project will provide a modern and world-class venue allowing the hosting of international football matches and large-scale athletics events.

With a GFA of about 31,000sqm, the project is designed to meet the sporting needs of the local community as well as Hong Kong as a whole. The project includes an 8-lane 400m-long all-weather synthetic athletics track surrounding the 11-a-side natural turf football pitch meeting the international standards, and 6,000 seat spectator stand with fixed covers and ancillary facilities. The venue shall also be available for local
football matches, school athletics events, and community jogging and exercise during non-event days.

The project is planned for completion in 2026.
